My Role

As the initiator and lead designer for this project, my responsibilities include working closely with stakeholders to synthesize user requirements, communicating design recommendations, prioritizing outcomes, leading the end-to-end design process, and managing expectations across dev teams.

Impact

  • The checkout conversion rate has increased by 15% after the redesign.

Evaluation

What we did good?

  • More confident in using data to further validate my assumptions.

What can be improved?

  • The project scope was not aligned from the beginning.

  • Some technical issues have not been fully resolved this time, such as the size measurements issue.

  • The recommendation algorithm still needs to be improved.
